While trying to get an old network card to work in a new Dell, I recieved a number of unusual and frustrating error messages. The most truly remarkable thing I saw was not an error, however. It was the reported used space on a networked drive. I got a screen cap to record the moment.

The 39 files shown evidently total to 71,777,214,280,140,800 bytes. That's around 70,000,000 Gb! I would say it's within an order of magnitude of all the disk drives in all the PCs in the world. Truly remarkable to have it on my desk. Even more incredible is the fact that the drive has a mere 172 Mb free space!

We never did get the card to work :-)
